Vizhaa is an event vendor marketplace that allows users to browse vendors and connect with them. Users can browse much of the platform without logging in. Additional personal information is collected when you verify your phone number, for example to contact a vendor, submit a listing review, or use similar features that require verification.

a) Information provided by users
- Phone number (for OTP verification when you request vendor contact, submit a review on a listing, or use other verified flows)
- Name, email, or message details when you voluntarily provide them (for example in a quote or callback request)
- Any additional details voluntarily provided
b) Vendor information
- Name and contact details
- Email address used for vendor account authentication and account-related communications
- Business details and listings
c) Automatically collected information
- IP address
- Device and browser information
- Usage data (pages visited, interactions)
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies
d) Analytics data
We use analytics tools including Google Analytics to understand traffic and engagement. This may include page views, approximate location derived from IP, device/browser details, and interaction events such as clicks or contact actions.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
- Verify your identity via OTP authentication
- Enable you to connect with vendors
- Share your contact details with vendors when you request to be contacted
- Authenticate review submissions where phone verification is required
- Provide vendor contact details after verification where applicable
- Operate vendor accounts (including login and notifications)
- Improve platform performance and user experience
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Sharing of Information
a) With vendors
When you verify your phone number and request to contact a vendor:
- Your phone number may be shared with the selected vendor
- The vendor may contact you directly outside the platform
- Additional details you include in your request (such as name or message) may be shared as needed to fulfil the request
b) Vendor contact disclosure
Vendor contact details are shown to users only after successful phone number verification where that gate applies.
c) Third-party service providers
We may share information with trusted third parties, including:
- OTP/SMS providers (e.g. MSG91)
- Messaging or communications partners used to deliver OTPs and transactional messages
- Cloud hosting providers (e.g. AWS)
- Analytics providers (including Google Analytics)
These parties process data only to provide services on our behalf.
d) Legal requirements
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
5. User Consent
By verifying your phone number and requesting vendor contact, you explicitly consent to:
- Sharing your contact details with the selected vendor
- Being contacted by the vendor via phone, SMS, or messaging platforms
Where you verify your phone for other features (such as submitting a review), you consent to processing your personal data as described in this Policy for those features.
If you do not wish to share your details, please do not proceed with verification.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary:
- User phone numbers: retained for operational and legal purposes
- Vendor data: retained while vendor accounts remain active
- Logs and analytics data: retained for a limited duration based on business and legal needs, or in anonymized form
